And so it begins…

Good morning all my busy little bees! It is Monday morning and I am feeling optimistic about this week! I don’t know why, so don’t ask.. I just am.. so we are going to go with it!

We packed our bags and headed to Royal Lake for the weekend, which is by far one of my most favorite things to do! I love to get out of the city, relax, and unwind in the middle of no where. Making fires, going fishing, snowshoeing, drinking tea and catching up on a good read, roasting marshmellows… there is nothing more relaxing than that! When we got back home last night I had a big package waiting for me at the door! And what could have been in this giant box that was so patiently waiting for my arrival?? My new school books!!

For those of you that are a little behind on the times.. I am currently taking courses and working on becoming a Registered Holistic Nutritionist! It has taken me a long time to come to the decision that this is really what I want to do with my life. After the past couple of years and everything that we had been through, I felt it was time (plus I had doctor’s orders!) that I move on from working my 9-5 office job that was giving me so much stress that I felt like I had aged 10 years every other month. Looking back now, leaving that job was the best thing I had done for myself. It gave me the time to heal up from my health issues due to the miscarriage and really take a step back to decide what I wanted, what was important to ME, and what could I do with my life that could help others, and really change peoples lives. In the past I had taken a few courses on the road to becoming a dietian…however this was not good enough for me.. it didn’t feel…right. But this, feels right. I didn’t want to be a regular dietian.. I wanted to help CURE people, and really heal them from the inside out. This truly is possible to do with food, herbs, and a natural lifestyle. I feel SO proud when I get to talk to people about this choice I have made!

Well, my past couple of weeks have been a nice little break while waiting for test marks and my new courses to arrive but now that they are here, it is time to buckle down and get to work! I am also VERY excited to share with you that I will be adding a nutrition page to my site where I can inform you of all of the wonderful facts I am learning about, and little things that you can add into your own lifestyle! So tell all your friends to pull up a chair and stay awhile.. good things are in the making and I love having you all along for the ride!
