Okay, let’s be honest.. It’s Monday of the long weekend so this is going to be brief! I promise I will be back tomorrow to fill you in on all of the juicy bits about this tea though, so make sure you catch part 2 of this one!
My first go-to tea facial, and probably the one that I do the most is using “The Glow”, from David’s Tea (check it out HERE). Not only is this one of my favorite go-to skin products, it’s one of my favorite go-to’s for drinking! It tastes SO good! Anyway, back to what you came here for.. It’s great at the end of a long day, or when you find your skin is feeling “sluggish.” It’s so refreshing on your skin! The second it touches your skin, you can just feel all the good things happening!
I will chat with you tomorrow about other brands of tea that will give you similar results, and why this mask makes your skin feel so good because there are a TON of reasons why, but for now..
I brew a VERY strong batch of “The Glow” tea, then once it is suuuper dark, not just a few minutes brew.. but like a “EW! I would never drink that!” kinda dark! I cut strips of paper towel and dip them into the tea.. this will help them stick to your face.. then I put the strips all over my face (one across my forehead/eyes, one down each side & cheek, one across lip/chin, and one on neck), then LAY DOWN! If you try to wear this while you do something else, or be upright in general… your paper towels may start to fall off! It’s a very good excuse to just put them on and take a well deserved break! Lay back, breathe, and just enjoy a good relax!
Secret: I have also been known to double dip those strips, and redo this mask a couple times in a row for an extra boost!
You can store this mask in your fridge for a couple of days, and that way you can do this mask a couple times a week and the next time it’s all ready to go! After it’s been in the fridge and gets nice and cold, it feels amazing on tired/sore eyes!
Another secret: When I run out of face toner, When I want my skin to look and feel amazing, I use this! I know it might sound crazy, but it really does make your skin feel SO good! People pay big bucks for a rosehip toner!
