Bacon Wrapped&Cream Cheese Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers

If you are anything like me, and have a true love for bacon, then you know that anything tastes good when it’s wrapped in that delicious goodness. Especially when it’s combined with cream cheese, and something spicy, like a jalapeno! These little gems are just two-ish bites of heaven! They aren’t all that difficult to make, and I will not claim responsibility if you are invited for a pot luck, bring these, and you get mauled.
*Note: You may notice I am using a silicone sheet instead of a wire baking rack – just ignore it, my wire rack was already in use!*
**I also apologize that I do not have a photo of them when they came out of the oven!…Remember the mauling I told you about earlier?!.. **
 24 Jalapeno Poppers:
What you need:
24 toothpicks
12 jalapenos – halved
1 block cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (sharp|old are my favorite to use)
1-2 TBSP garlic powder (more or less depending on your love of garlic!)
12 slices bacon cut in half
What you do:
Preheat your oven to 375F. Cover a baking pan with foil, and place a wire rack on top. The foil helps for easy clean up! 😉
Slice your jalapenos in half and clean the seeds and guts out.
Then, mix up your cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and garlic powder. Set aside.
Cut 12 slices in half. Set aside.
Take your cheese mixture and use a spoon to fill your halved jalapenos.
Once you have them all filled, wrap one half of a bacon slice around the jalapeno and secure with a tooth pick.
Bake in your oven at 375F for 20 or so min. Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn!
Note: The baking timing may vary slightly depending on your oven, as well as your bacon choice!
